CB PNI LED 1000 folding antenna

LED coil

CB Antenna PNI LED 1000 is the continuation of a new line of CB antennas, designed to make the use of the CB band unique. The antenna guarantees superior communication performance and improves visibility to the maximum.

The antenna coil is equipped with light-emitting diodes when traversed by radio frequency. The coil turns on automatically when the radio emits, indicating the correct operation of the equipment. The higher the emission power, the higher the light intensity of the LEDs.

Length 100 cm

The CB PNI LED 1000 antenna with a length of 100 centimeters helps the transmission and reception in the CB band for a distance of up to 10 km (in ideal conditions, without obstacles).

Factors influencing communication distance:
»Antenna Length : Longer antennas will have a larger radius than shorter antennas.
»Mounting location : the higher the antenna is mounted, the better the range.
»Quality of installation : installation errors, such as lack of mass, will lead to a high SWR value and a limited range.
»Surrounding : Surrounding plays a huge role in determining the range. Obstacles such as buildings or wooded areas will limit the range.

Cable and mount for fixed mounting included

Thanks to the included accessories (butterfly mount, RG58 cable and PL259 plug) antenna mounting becomes a simple and fast thing:

» Connect the antenna to a fixed stand purchased separately (for example: PNI SPA100 , PNI SPA110 , PNI L1 ) previously mounted on the car.
» Test the SWR in an open area with a reflectometer. In some cases it may be necessary to raise or shorten the wire to obtain an optimal SWR value. For best results, we recommend that this procedure, called calibration , be performed by authorized personnel with special equipment. Note: PNI antennas are factory calibrated at 27.225Mhz (channel 22) .
» Connect the PL259 plug from the end of the antenna cable to the antenna plug behind the station.
